American Impressionist painter, Lilla Cabot Perry, was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She studied literature, poetry and music while also
spending some time sketching with friends. Later works in her career were inspired by her three children. She studied art at the Academie
Julian in Paris and later the Cowles Art School in Boston. Her exposure to artist Robert Vonnoh’s work inspired her Impressionistic painting style. Her work has been exhibited in Paris, Chicago, Boston, St. Louis and San Francisco.
